My Downtown Photo post



Here're my postings for this week assignment. This is a photo of the Bridgeport post office, notice the shadows of the rails across the street from the windows, and the reflections of the pictures hanging in the door enterances that can be see through the glass.

This is a cool shot of the post office doors! It reminds me of those movies from the early 1970's like "The French Conection" or "The Seven-Ups." I am expecting Roy Schieder or Gene Hackman to slowly walk out of the doors watching a suspect as they pass by on the street. Really cool shadows and light!

I like the shadows in this photo as well. I commented on fotoshot about using Picasa 3 to straighten the shot. It is very nice.

Again move your body left to line up straight in front of the center rail and turn your camera so everything is level. I do like the light here, however.
